Barbara,
I just wanted to say thank you for visiting my website. I know it has been so long since we met at Ikaros but wanted to make sure you knew your support and comment will not and did not go unnoticed.
I had a chance to check out the blog you sent me. I saw a good looking crab cake recipe just after I made a batch of my own. They look like the real 'marylander' way, so I may have to give that a shot!
Thanks again,
Katherine

Hi Katherine,
Met you and your brother at Ikaros on Monday evening. I love your website! The pictures are beautiful and the recipes sound wonderful.
.
We had fun at Ikaros, and yes, we also got complimentary desserts. My sister loved the rockfish, but my husband and I weren't that happy with our choices. Next time my sister is in town, we'll take her to Samos to try the fish there.
I promised that I would send you a link to my current favorite food blog. See what you think. It was lovely meeting you and I will continue to check out your blog.

I made the shrimp fettucine with tomato cream sauce the other night.... I tweaked the recipe a little and added a can of tomato sauce and 1/4 c of chicken broth (you can use white wine as well) and this made for a little more sauce and added moisture. I always use a 16 oz box of pasta so we have leftovers! YUM! It's now a favorite recipe!

I've been enjoying reading your blog. Sounds like you're having a wonderful time. Have copied some of your recipes and intend to start trying one a week. Will let you know how they turn out!

what a delightful afternoon in Paris... lunch at a brasserie and browsing the wonderful gourmet cooking supply shops with you! now the challenging part, how do I get it all in my suitcase and keep it under 50 pounds? Maybe some of the baking chocolate might have to find its way to your apartment! Ganache or macaroons anyone?

Katherine:
What a fabulous website!! I ran into your mom last week and she shared your website with me. Ricky's girlfriend of two years, Heather Michaels, just moved to Paris last week to attend make-up artistry school. I am going to forward this link to her in hopes that the two of you can meet sometime. Good luck in school. What an awesome opportunity!

Katherine, each time you have some au chocolat at the neighborhood spot think of me. I am loving this blog. Oh yes, the summer supper at your house was spectacular. Your mom and dad have entertaining down to a science. Ask them about the "morelander". I had several!!!! Betty

I have personally tasted the key lime pie....it is fantastic with freshly squeezed key limes topped with whipped cream!! And the crust is incredible..
And to think the web-site idea started at Loyola University during the Baltimore Blizzard of 2010......
Can't wait to follow Katherine's adventures in Paris as she travels the cafes and bistros!
